Saint Barnabas Anglican Church was founded in 2013. We began meeting in the Fort Mill YMCA at Baxter Village beginning January 19, 2013. The formational group met on Saturday afternoons. During the summer of 2013 we began a search for an alternate meeting facility and Lake Wylie Lutheran Church opened their chapel to this mission church. We  met at Lake Wylie Lutheran with the core group in September 2013, having church services at this location.  Beginning on Advent 1 in December 2013, services were moved to SUNDAYS at 1PM. We moved July 20th, 2014 to Tega Cay Golf Club, Glennon Conference Center, which allowed us to hold morning services at 09:30.

As of January 4th, 2015 Lake Wylie Lutheran has welcomed us back to their meeting facility, allowing us once again to use their Chapel. We are now meeting at 11:15 AM. Please join us there!

Kardia Church Planting Initiative is a ministry of the Diocese of the Carolinas that exists to plant, remission, and resource healthy gospel-centered churches in the Anglican tradition and to partner with others who are like minded to encourage church planting across denominational boundaries. Our goal is to plant 30 churches by assessing, coaching, training, and resourcing church planters to fulfill the Great Commission to reach the 130 million unchurched people in North America. If you are passionate about the great commission and feel called to church planting we invite you to join us!
